Berlin study tour: landscape bike ride

On our final day in Berlin, we went on a landscape focused bike ride around the city. We first cycled through the openness of the riverside Spreebogen Park, which contains some beautiful ditched hedge planting. This was immediately followed by a contrasting ride through the densely forested and enclosed Großer Tiergarten. It was incredibly tranquil and contains many lakes and hidden play areas.

Next, we headed back to civilisation to the very urban and linear Tilla-Duriex Park, which holds the most enormous see-saws you’ll ever see. Our ride culminated in the very modern and well maintained Park am Gleisdreieck, boasting a beautiful central open space and pockets of various areas for fitness and play, which was a fun way to end the tour!
