We were invited to participate in a developer-led competition for this critical component of the Romford Town Centre Area Action Plan.
Our vision for this new quarter of riverside living, comprising circa 850 new homes, is founded on an understanding of the site’s local history and backdrop of Romford Town Centre. The proposals seek to maximise the benefit of the River Rom by making the new river crossing more than just a bridge, but an extension of a new urban gateway square.
The new development will be central to the changing perception of the town as a place to live, work, and enjoy. It will create a vibrant and dynamic part of Romford, and with its rich mix of residential versus non-residential spaces to create a series of active and exciting places.
