'Designing our Future' sustainability series

We are halfway through our ‘Designing our Future’ sustainability series. This is a collection of talks from internal and external speakers to raise awareness and spark discussion on the climate emergency and future practice. It is also intended to upskill everyone in the Practice on key themes surrounding sustainability in its widest sense: for people, place and planet.

The themes include:

  1. Social value
  2. Carbon literacy
  3. Sustainable places and lifestyles
  4. Embodied carbon and circular economy
  5. Retrofit and reuse
  6. Renewable and low carbon technology.

Our speakers have been incredibly generous with their time thus far and their expertise is greatly appreciated. We hope to be able to share some of the recordings of the sessions with you soon.

We hope this series will continue to inspire us and make us want to push beyond the limits of local, regional and national policies – aspiring to make places that are truly liveable and which will help us and our clients to leave a lasting legacy for resilient communities. Please get in touch at hello@levittbernstein.co.uk if you have any ideas for speakers that would fit within our programme.

It is our collective efforts that will bring us closer to tackling the climate crisis.
