Looking back on 2021

Despite the ongoing pandemic, 2021 brought its fair share of exciting things for the Practice. We are incredibly proud of what we have been able to accomplish, including securing numerous planning permissions and several projects completing on site.

Other highlights include being acknowledged with many awards, including winning two Housing Design Awards, winning a Waltham Forest Design Award, being a finalist for two Landscape Institute Awards and shortlistings in the NLA Awards and the Education Estates Awards, to name a few.

We sponsored this year's Manchester International Festival and took part in the London Festival of Architecture with a co-design event. We also organised a sports day extravaganza, additional Passivhaus training for staff and a garden party for residents at a recently completed scheme. We have shared more of our research, with our Net Zero Carbon Toolkit and the Housing Forum's Better Procurement for Better Homes guide both deserving special mention.

We are excited by what is on the drawing board for 2022 and we look forward to sharing this with you soon. From everyone at Levitt Bernstein, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Please note that both our London and Manchester studios will be closed from Friday 24 December and will reopen on Tuesday 4 January.
