Permission granted for Players Village

Our proposals for the new Players Village at Devonshire Park were granted planning permission this week. The new two-storey glass and timber clad building is conceived as an addition to the existing series of pavilions in the well-known park, to provide dual gender facilities for the tennis players for the Aegon International Tournament. The design has been optimised to suit a fast-track modular approach in order to be ready for the return of the men's event, to rejoin the women, at Eastbourne in 2017. Starting on site in autumn of this year, works will run alongside our ongoing Devonshire Park redevelopment.
