Pimlico Village, Westminster

This commission involved the design of a new mixed-use development, comprising a 50,000 sq ft supermarket, eight sublets, two levels of parking and 160 homes on a constrained central London site. We also needed to carefully respond to complex Rights of Light issues and the differing adjacent townscapes within our proposals.

Pimlico Village achieved new standards in urban high density housing in London, integrating commercial uses at street level and mixed tenure accommodation above. 79 apartments for sale and 81 apartments and maisonettes for rent and shared ownership are combined to reach 640hrh, carefully arranged around two communal landscaped courtyards.
