Located to the south of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and north of Stratford High Street, our proposals transform the former industrial site to provide over 2,000m2 commercial space, including small units for start-up businesses, 194 new homes including affordable and family housing, and significant improvements to the public realm and landscape.
Conceived as a perimeter building and the first phase of a larger regeneration project, the development is a modern interpretation of riverside wharf architecture. The simple massing is stretched along the length of the building, which is broken down by a series of vertical elements to mimic this industrial style and create a sense of scale.
The frontage to the Bow Back River will become a vibrant promenade lined with dynamic commercial uses and a tiered deck down to the water. The towpath will be reinstated with pedestrian and cycle routes, which in the future will connect to the reopened tow paths of the Olympic legacy scheme.
A mixed use development to transform a brownfield site on the Olympic fringes.
