As part of Levitt Bernstein's partnership with Shelter for our Manchester studio's tenth birthday, a number of us pledged to complete 100km in March with our feet - walking, jogging or running!
We were off to a steady pace, each week surpassing the previous one, but the final week saw a fall in kilometres, presumably due to sore feet. However, we managed to walk, run and march an overall total of 5,529.84km over the month, that is the equivalent of travelling from London to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia!
A huge thank you for all the support as we managed to raise over £500 for families and individuals facing homelessness.
The housing crisis is a national emergency. Right now, thousands of people are trying to get by without a safe place to call home.
We believe that a safe home is a fundamental need and a basic moral right. Our legendary fundraisers who are taking on the 100km in March Challenge are joining the fight for home, by fundraising to support families and individuals facing homelessness. Because home is everything.
Thank you again to everyone who took part and donated - we must have the bug because later this year a few of us from the Manchester Studio will participate in the Manchester Half Marathon furthering our support of Shelter UK!
