We are delighted and proud that Aberfeldy New Masterplan has won a 'golden pineapple' in The Pineapples. These awards, organised by The Developer, celebrate making places 'where people thrive with an emphasis on the social and environmental impact of a project’s design and development.'
The project has won a community engagement award, which recognises how our team worked in an exemplary, inventive way with the local community, and how their feedback shaped the masterplan and was directly incorporated into decision making.
The Aberfeldy New Masterplan, which is being developed by EcoWorld London and Poplar HARCA, is a 20-year regeneration scheme in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. We submitted a new masterplan last year which was driven by extensive stakeholder engagement and co-design, placing young people at the heart of the process, with over 100 pupils from local schools involved.
We have an incredibly talented and collaborative design team who have worked tirelessly with us to make it all happen; thank you ZCD Architects, LDA Design and Morris+Company. Thank you to our client, EcoWorld London and Poplar HARCA, who have been consistently ambitious and supportive, and are deeply committed to the people of Aberfeldy and its long term regeneration.
