On Tuesday morning, Marta, Matt and I hosted an art workshop at Shelter's hub in Dalston. The workshop was for people of all ages and abilities (babies, toddlers, teenagers, parents and the elderly) that have been affected in some way by homelessness. Loads of people turned up and they all seemed really happy and relaxed. Things got pretty messy by the end: we were all covered in paint, had accidentally ruined a few chairs and squashed lots of crisps into the floor…
Shelter was very impressed with the finished creations and said they would hang all the decorations up in the family room. We all really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the next workshop!
