Brookhill Estate received planning permission this week following a decision at Royal Borough of Greenwich’s planning committee last night.

Brookhill Estate is a large, regeneration project for Hyde housing in Woolwich that will provide high-quality new homes for a new and existing community. The existing Estate contains 80 houses which will be replaced by a total of 254 new homes in a mix of flats, maisonettes and houses. 49% of homes are affordable.

The proposals have been developed in close consultation with existing residents to ensure the most valued characteristics of the current estate are retained and enhanced. At the heart of the proposals for the Estate is a central green spine, which includes play and amenity facilities.
