2023 is a year of 10th birthday celebrations for our Manchester Studio, and it’s a time to reflect on what’s been achieved and what’s to come. We’re so proud of the growth of our amazing team here in this city we love, the body of work being delivered and the network of friends and collaborators we've established.

Since the 1970s we’ve had a constant connection to Manchester through the Royal Exchange Theatre, our first arts project and an iconic building in the city. We are very proud of saying ‘that’s ours’! When considering a satellite studio, Manchester was the natural fit for Levitt Bernstein. From two of us sitting in the corner of a shared office, we have steadily grown to 20 and have even managed to tempt a few of the London team to pack their bags and move up here!

Being located and fully integrated in Manchester has allowed our general and specialist housing projects to thrive in the region, and from our very first commissioned project from the Manchester studio - for Withington Girls’ School - we have developed considerable growth in our education sector work.

Levitt Bernstein is all about our people - and the people we work for and with - and that exceptional quality of design to provide special and sustainable environments is deserved by all. Moving forward we will proudly continue to provide our cross sector expertise in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture and sustainability to create great places with care, skill, passion and enjoyment. Here’s to the next 10 years.
