‘If You Turn the City Upside-Down, Stories Will Fall Out’
As part of the legacy of the London Festival of Architecture, our City of Stories installation is now on display at the ArtHouse in Crouch End.
The independent cinema is running a ‘Street Stories’ season throughout August with a combination of art, architecture, film and live performance, focussing on the global issue of homelessness.
Developed in conjunction with local artist, A Labour of Love, CRASH and Kairos Community Trust, visitors will be able to explore the hidden stories of homeless people through the installation, which depicts an upended cardboard city with aspects of Levitt Bernstein’s research and personal accounts of those who have experienced homelessness falling from the skyline.
The installation will be exhibited alongside work by designer Mike Abrahams until early September.
