On our second day in Copenhagen, we spent the day on a landscape-led bike journey. The route looped around the city centre with further exploration into some key areas. The different typologies that were explored ranged from traditional parklands (Batanisk Have), civic squares for a quick breakfast brew with a casual browse through market stalls (Israels Plads), a funky urban park at Superkiln (below), the impressive harbour views of the opera house at Amaliehaven and the naturalistic neighbourhoods along Freetown Christiana.
With the day filled with leisurely strolls and cycle links, it was a relaxing way to spend a Saturday.
