We are delighted to share that the Old Infirmary Boarding at Stonyhurst College in Lancashire has been shortlisted for 'Pupil/Student Experience' in the Education Estates Awards. This award recognises buildings and facilities that significantly improve pupils’ experience and positively enhance their wellbeing. It also celebrates excellence in delivering value and functionality with projects, whilst also promoting best practice in innovative design in the education sector.

The project involved careful and considered internal reworking of their unique Grade II* listed Old Infirmary building to provide contemporary facilities to both meet the College’s aspirations for high quality, modern boarding accommodation for sixth formers and serve as a benchmark for future refurbishment.
