Hackney Council has just published a draft of a new supplementary planning document (SPD) called 'Growing up in Hackney: child-friendly places'. This is meant to 'ensure that proposed developments and the design process accommodates and actively plans for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.' We are pleased that Sutherland Road in LB Waltham Forest has been featured in the case study for its use of doorstop play and shared landscape.
