‘Housing Matters’, RIBA’s latest campaign, is aptly named and well-timed. Housing has always mattered, and always will – but possibly more now than ever before. We think the Government has made some serious mistakes in the Housing and Planning Bill and this policy briefing picks up on many of these issues. What’s great about this initiative is that it’s come from members. It was generated by the the RIBA Housing Group, debated at meetings and developed by the RIBA policy team. David Levitt (a past chair) is coming to the end of his six year term, and I have picked up the baton on behalf of Levitt Bernstein.
