Last night we were pleased to support, attend and speak at the launch of the London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI) Climate Emergency Design Guide. The Building Centre was full to bursting with enthusiastic built environment professionals ready to hear about the document and LETI’s next steps.
The emphasis of the guide is to provide the tools the industry needs to make new buildings net zero carbon. Archetype pages break down the key performance indicators into usable bite-sized topics for four different building types, while the five chapters provide more in-depth information on how we arrived at the targets.
Over 100 professionals voluntarily contributed to the guide, demonstrating their commitment to meeting the climate emergency. We hope that everyone will use the guide to speak to their clients, designers and policymakers so that we can all act now to ensure our buildings are fit for the future.
