Last Friday I presented at the AMPS (Architecture, Media, Politics, Society) Annual Conference in Liverpool, entitled ‘Government and Housing in a Time of Crisis: Policy, Planning, Design and Delivery’. I spoke about the emerging cohousing sector and the need for more professional facilitators to get projects off the ground.
It was a very inspiring couple of days. I really enjoyed hearing about Assemble’s Turner Prize winning project with Granby Four Streets Community Land Trust, turning derelict Victorian terraces into beautiful community homes.
