We are delighted that Cooks Road, our new mixed use development for Bellway Homes, has received planning consent.

Located to the south of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and north of Stratford High Street, it is one of the first plots to be developed on Pudding Mill Island. Under our proposals, the former industrial site will be transformed to provide over 2,000m2 commercial space, including small units for start-up businesses; 194 new homes, including affordable and family housing; and significant improvements to the public realm and landscape.

The frontage to the Bow Back River will become a vibrant promenade lined with dynamic commercial uses and a tiered deck down to the water. The towpath will be reinstated with pedestrian and cycle routes, which in future will connect to the reopened tow paths of the Olympic legacy scheme.

Construction is expected to start on site later this year and complete in 2018.
