We are delighted to announce that The Courtyards, our scheme for Community Gateway Association, is a finalist in the Northern Design Awards for their 'Residential Development' category. This category recognises housing that "most effectively demonstrates high levels of user satisfaction and comfort and delivers outstanding measured building performance alongside exceptional interiors."

This project, based in Preston, puts each principle of the HAPPI report into practice to provide 60 independent living homes for affordable rent and communal facilities for people over the age of 55 with varying care needs.

The Northern Design Awards bring together designers, retailers and property developers to recognise excellence across the North. We're looking forward to the ceremony on 18 November when the winners will be announced. Until then, you can browse the list of finalists.
