One of four in design competition for Redcliffe Way in Bristol

We are delighted to share that we have been shortlisted for the Redcliffe Way Design Competition. Goram Homes and Bristol Housing Festival, in partnership with Redcliffe Way Neighbourhood Forum, have selected four practices to develop proposals for the Portwall Lane car park in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity to work with the local community and stakeholders to create innovative homes showing how city-centre living can and should be. We took our inspiration from the nearby St Mary Redcliffe Church, drawing on its forms, proportions and elements, creating a unique design that reflects the location and local heritage. Our proposals showcase zero carbon design by using a Passivhaus approach.

Keeping our fingers crossed for stage 2 of the competition, which will include community engagement and further development of our ideas. Their aim is to select a winner by the end of the summer.
