We recently had a fantastic day with the students of ‘Regeneration Brainery’, an initiative set up by developer Capital & Centric to recruit young people from all over Greater Manchester and offer them experience of the construction and regeneration industry.

We gave them the challenge to pick a famous person and design a small dwelling for them, and by the end of the day they all stood up and confidently presented their proposals, complete with helipads, moats, private islands, underground hideaways, recording studios and circulation slides. There were a few in the group already interested in careers in architecture and hopefully a few more by the end of the day!
