I am delighted to have been selected as a speaker for the Education Estates Conference in October. My presentation will cover sustainable development for schools and universities, including rationalising space and making the most of existing stock. I will explore design interventions that create inspiring, new amenity in existing corners of school and university estates – sustainable development that makes the most of poorly-functioning buildings, buildings previously having non-educational use and neglected external space.
