The Hive at Kew Gardens

We all know that bees are in trouble, and that means trouble for us too. The Hive, a new installation at Kew Gardens, highlights the role these pollinators have in feeding the planet by making their activity visible and audible. Lights and sounds are generated through vibration sensors linked to one of Kew’s very own bee colonies, making for a truly multi-sensory experience in Wolfgang Buttress’ stunning aluminium structure.
