After attending the recent Women in Architecture speed mentoring event, I was pleased to be able to go along to the summer party at Pollard Thomas Edwards' office. Beautifully located by the canal, it was the perfect spot for a summer evening and unsurprising that so many architects showed up!

It was great to meet women working in different practices in a more relaxed atmosphere, where we were also treated to good food, drinks and ice creams. Christine Murray also spoke about the continued importance of the WIA campaign, which we're very proud to support.

Overall it was a lovely evening - a great way to meet new people and an excuse to socialise with our colleagues!
