This illustration explores the various brick types used across our scheme at Melfield Gardens and how they come together to celebrate the entrance. Sitting within a ground floor colonnade, this arch acts as the communal entrance to the block, with simpler decorative brickwork extending up the building to continue to express the core at each level. We are using two types of red brick and two types of glazed brick to achieve robust details and expressive moments across the scheme.
