This sketch was part of a competition entry that explored the regeneration of an existing railway station. By using the urban design principle of activation, we have proposed alternative usages of the arched viaducts in order to celebrate the unique culture of the area. This includes creating opportunities for positive public gathering with the use of pop-up shops and seasonal market stalls.
