This is an initial view of the A&E patient streaming project for Tameside Hospital in Ashton-under-lyne. Our proposals, developed alongside the hospital's estates team, will create a welcoming and non-institutional A&E department, as well as:

· Reduce times for assessment,

· Increase the size of A&E through relocating the GP-led Unit and Fractures Clinic,

· Improve the atmosphere of the waiting area,

· Improve surveillance,

· Increase legibility.
