Our annual study tour brought us to (an exceptionally rainy) Cambridge; there was a wide range of tours and site visits on offer, so everyone could visit the things that interested them most. Highlights included Jamie Fobert’s redevelopment of Kettle’s Yard, a walkabout tour of the North West Cambridge development (masterplan by Aecom) and exploring exemplary housing schemes Accordia (by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Maccreanor Lavington and Alison Brooks Architects) and Abode at Great Kneighton (by Proctor and Matthews). Some went on a cycle tour of 20th century education and student accommodation buildings around the university, including our own work on Harvey Court, while others ended at the Heong Gallery at Downing College by Caruso St. John Architects.
