The excavation of the basement for the next phase of the Ocean Estate regeneration is now underway and will unusually be required to span two Crossrail tunnels below the site. Two halves have been dug, divided by a central stop barrier which will be removed over the next few weeks, revealing the full size of the excavation.

Upon completion, this phase will offer 225 new homes and will link up with the previous phases of the development and the open park adjacent.
