Reflecting on 2020

As we near the end of 2020, we are taking a moment to pause and reflect. It goes without saying this year has been challenging and full of change for us all. The coronavirus pandemic disrupted most aspects of our lives and led us to shift our entire Practice to homeworking in an extraordinarily short amount of time. Despite this, we are incredibly proud of the work that has happened this year. We've secured numerous planning permissions, been selected for frameworks and had several projects complete on site.

Other highlights include being acknowledged with numerous awards, including winning a Civic Trust Award and Sussex Heritage Trust Award, being shortlisted for a RIBA Award and being a finalist two BD Architect of the Year Awards and AJ100's Practice of the Year. Our colleagues Clare and Julia have been named Sustainability Champion of the Year and Architectural Leader of the Year respectively. We have also shared more of our sustainability work, with our Easi Guide to Passivhaus Design and our pathway to zero carbon deserving special mention.

We are grateful for our community of clients and collaborators and excited by what is on the drawing board for next year; we look forward to sharing this with you soon. From everyone at Levitt Bernstein, we wish you a peaceful Christmas and best wishes for 2021.

Please note that both our London and Manchester studios will be closed from Thursday 24 December and will reopen on Monday 4 January.
